PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display that has high uniform luminance and can reduce luminance irregularities; and to provide an electrooptical device, electronic equipment, and a method for manufacturing the display.

SOLUTION: The display for transmitting light applied from a light source for displaying color elements comprises a micro lens array that is arranged and formed on a light-transmitting substrate, and a display panel having the color elements arranged at positions that oppose the micro lens array. The micro lens array is arranged so that it has a condensed point on the display surface of the color elements.
