<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely, economically and efficiently separate a panel part and a funnel part in a method for recycling a cathode-ray tube. <P>SOLUTION: The method involves at first cutting a circumference of a panel part 2 of a cathode-ray tube 1 by a cutting apparatus, next heating the cut part 11 by winding a heater wire 22 around the cut part 11, successively generating a significant thermal strain in the cut part 11 by blowing cold air to the heated cut part 11 by a cooling apparatus 19 equipped with a nozzle 21, and thereafter separating the panel part 2 and a funnel part 3 at a high precision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
