PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle detector capable of enhancing detection precision of a rotation angle, by making proper a fixed magnetization direction of a pin layer constituting a magnetoresistance element, in particular, in a fundamental state such as a completely stopped state and an idling state. SOLUTION: All the magnetization directions of the pin layers in the plurality of magnetoresistance elements G1-G8 are inclined by 45°from a direction of an external magnetic field H crossed with axis O of a throttle valve shaft 4, under the completely stopped state where an engine is stopped and the idling state where the engine is operated but an automobile is stopped 8 (those are called as the fundamental state). A phenomenon that the magnetization of the each pin layer is fluctuated under the fundamental state by the external magnetic field H is prevented thereby to manufacture a throttle position sensor of excellent detection precision.
