PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant resin composition having flame retardance and excellent heat resistance and generating no halide gas when burnt. SOLUTION: The flame retardant resin composition is composed by compounding 100-300 pts.wt. inorganic metalhydroxide to 100 pts.wt. heat reversible polyolefin resin of the base material.
