PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a pneumatic tire, when a line, a character or the like having a different color from that of a main body rubber is formed at a sidewall portion, a waving of an outline of the line, the letter or the like can be prevented under making an advantages in a ribbon winding process. SOLUTION: When a white line, a character or the like having different color from that of a main body rubber is formed at a sidewall portion 2, a rubber ribbon is wound a plurality of times (to the side wall part) along the circumferential direction of the tire, a black colored sidewall rubber 10 on which a concave groove 21 extended in the circumferential direction of the tire is formed in a region where the white line, the character or the like is formed, an extruded white colored rubber body 11 is fitted in the concave groove 21, the extruded white colored rubber (extruded) body 11 is covered with a black colored rubber sheet 12 and the rubber sheet 12 is partly scraped to exhibit the extruded white colored rubber body 11.
