Cosmetic composition in a medium comprises a phosphazene compound (I) not belonging to the family of the hydroxides, the medium and phosphazene are selected to react on cystines of keratinous fibers, by a reaction of beta-elimination producing of the dehydroalanine and leading to lanthionine formation for curling keratinous fiber to 0.2-3 cm in diameter in less than 60 minutes. Independent claims are included for: (1) a kit comprising the composition; (2) a process of straightening the keratinous matters comprising applying the composition; and (3) an active agent to straighten keratinous fibers comprising (I).
