<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance quick charge characteristics of a lithium secondary battery by reducing internal resistance of an electrode and enhancing diffusion of lithium ions inside the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery 41 is equipped with a positive electrode 45 capable of absorbing/releasing lithium and a negative electrode 46 capable of absorbing/releasing lithium, the positive electrode 45 contains a positive current collector and a positive active material layer fixed onto the positive current collector, the positive active material layer contains LiCoO<SB>2</SB>, the negative electrode 46 contains a negative current collector and a negative active material layer fixed onto the negative current collector, the negative active material layer contains a carbon material having a spacing of (002) planes d002 of 0.370 nm or more, and the thickness of the positive active material layer and that of the negative active material layer are 5-40 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
