<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for fuel cells which is capable of preventing the performance degradation of cells even if a fuel utilization rate or an oxidant utilization rate is a high level. <P>SOLUTION: This separator 1 for fuel cells has one groove 2 on a surface which is used as a passage for flowing fuel or oxidant therein. Each groove 2 is formed, when two of this separator 1 are superposed with each surface having the groove 2, so as to match each other as a mirror symmetry within a region corresponding to the electrode part of a cell. The starting and terminal end portions of the groove 2 are desirable to be tunnel-like passing through the inside of each separator 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
