<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB system without requiring a file system to be held in a printer which serves as a USB host, in a camera direct print system using a USB MassStorage class. <P>SOLUTION: In a system transferring data by means of a USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface, expansion to the MassStorage class is carried out in both of the USB host and a USB device and a command for transferring print data is added since a file system is not required on the USB host side when the MassStorage class is provided as a communication protocol between the USB host 101 and the USB device 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
