PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information display for enabling a user to instantly grasp traffic information related to a road where a vehicle is driving. SOLUTION: An ECU 8 superposes and displays the traffic information of each road at the periphery of the current position of the vehicle acquired by a VICS communication system 7 on a map image displayed on a display 3. In this case, a road where the vehicle is driving is an expressway. If there are general roads running parallel to the road, the display of the traffic information of the parallel general road is inhibited. When a road where the vehicle is driving is a general road and there are expressways running parallel to the road, the display of the traffic information of the parallel expressways is inhibited.
