PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller which can be acted also instead of a flashlight. SOLUTION: In the case that the remote controller A is utilized instead of a flashlight, if one key switch of key switch constellation 2 is depressed, a key matrix circuit 3 outputs a key signal which corresponds to the depressed key switch, and a timer 11 performs time counting operation by the signal. When utilizing instead of a flashlight, since the key switch is pushed continuously, by continuous pushing of the key switch, series luminescence driving signal is output from the timer 11 after predetermined time progress in time counting by the timer 11. By the above process, a set-up voltage supplying circuit 18 drives a set-up circuit 4 and applies voltage in which set-up was performed by the set-up circuit 4 to a white light LED 20. At this time, the series luminescence driving signal from the timer 11 is applied to a drive circuit 19, and the drive circuit 19 is operated, so that, the white light LED 20 is driven, and light is emitted continuously more brightly than usual.
