PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic having excellent hair-protecting effects, conditioning effects and the like. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic contains one or more kinds of amino- or ammonium-modified silicones represented by general formula (I) [wherein, m and n are each a positive integer with the proviso that the average value of m+n is 4,000-6,000, and the average value of n/m is 0.002-0.03] and one or more kinds of Gemini cationic surfactants represented by general formula (II).
