PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable users to get on/off easily between a start point part and an end point part of a floor surface and a start point side getting on/off part and an end point side getting on/off part of a man carrier mechanism. SOLUTION: The man carrier mechanism 1 is installed to be driven to rotate in the form of an endless belt between the start point part 3 and the end point part 4 which are at prescribed distance on the floor surface. Men are boarded on its carrying surface to be carried from the start point side getting on/off part 1a to the end point side getting on/off part 1b. Installation spaces 11a and 11b are respectively provided between the start point side getting on/off part 1a/the end point side getting on/off part 1b at both ends of the man carrier mechanism 1 and the start point part 3/end point part 4 of the floor surface. Transfer run parts 2a and 2b are provided in the installation spaces 11a and 11b to be driven by the man carrier mechanism 1 to run horizontally at reduced speed by a prescribed ratio to carrying speed of the man carrier mechanism 1.
