PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide feeding of roll paper realizing enhancement of conveying performance. SOLUTION: (1) Pinch rollers in a conveying means are each independently to pressurized to an LF roller. (2) The roll sheet conveying device has a loading means (roll brake) applied to a spool shaft for retaining the roll. (3) A cam for releasing the pressure of the pinch roller has a plurality of cam surfaces of different phases from each other and the pinch roller for performing pressing by a rotation angle of the cam can select it. (4) The pressure releasing action is automatically performed, conveying force is maximized at recording of an image and the conveying force is reduced at paper feeding (pre-feeding).
