PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for recovering a light oil from a coke oven gas which can recover the light oil from the coke oven gas in high absorption efficiency without clogging problems. SOLUTION: The equipment for recovering the light oil from the coke oven gas is installed in a gas purification process of the coke oven gas. In the equipment, a preceding absorption tower 6 of a spray type in which absorbed oil is sprayed and brought to contact with the coke oven gas and a succeeding absorption tower 7 of a filled type in which the absorbed oil is brought to contact with the coke oven gas inside a filling layer 9 are arranged in series and the light oil is absorbed. The absorbed oil is sent from the succeeding absorption tower 7 to the preceding absorption tower 6 in reverse to the coke oven gas. As the preceding tower which is easily clogging is brought to be the spray type, clogging problems are solved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
