PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin composition achieving flame retardancy without reducing reactivity when making the resin free from a halogen and antimony by using a metal hydroxide. SOLUTION: The metal hydroxide having≤100 nm average particle diameter is contained as a filler in the thermosetting resin composition containing a thermosetting resin and the filler. The thermosetting resin composition can gain the high flame retardancy without reducing the moldability by a small addition amount by using the metal hydroxide having a nano-level average particle diameter of≤100 nm.
