PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally developable photographic material excellent in storage stability at high temperature and high humidity, and an image forming method thereof. SOLUTION: The thermally developable photographic material has at least one photosensitive layer containing a photosensitive silver halide on a support and has a layer containing at least one compound represented by formula (1) on one or both surfaces of the support. The image forming method thereof is also provided. In the formula, R11and R12each independently represent H or a substituent; Z11represents O, S, N-R1, Se or Te, R1represents alkyl or aryl; Q11represents a 6-membered heterocycle; and A11and B11each represent aryl, where at least one of A11and B11represents substituted aryl.
