PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffin cooling system which can efficiently refrigerate the dead body in a coffin without using dry ice or liquefied gas. SOLUTION: The coffin cooling system 10 includes a box member 12 of which the upper part is open to be capable of mounting the coffin 11, the water absorptive resin 13 which is filled in the box member 12 and is impregnated with an antifreezing solution, the refrigerant piping 14 which is disposed in the box member 12 and refrigerates the antifreezing solution in contact with the water absorptive resin 13, and a refrigerant supplying means 15 which supplies the refrigerant to the refrigerant piping 14. Thereby, the coffin 11 which is mounted on the upper part of the box member 12 can be indirectly and efficiently refrigerated without using the dry ice or the liquefied gas.
