PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device capable of effectively suppressing influence of an air current which occurs following the rotation of magnetic disks. SOLUTION: The magnetic disk device has a disk assembly which includes at least one magnetic disk medium, a head assembly which includes at least one magnetic head part which records a magnetic signal on the magnetic disk medium and also reads the magnetic signal and at least one arm part which supports the magnetic head part, a ramp assembly which includes at least one ramp which guides the magnetic head part to a prescribed retracting position when retreating the magnetic head part from the magnetic disk medium, and shroud fins which are provided integrally with the ramp assembly by the same number as those of magnetic disk mediums correspondingly to the magnetic disk mediums and which are arranged side by side with the corresponding magnetic disk mediums and which guide the air current which occurs following the rotation of the disk assembly.
