A vacuum cleaner is provided to increase filtering efficiency by doubly filtrating foreign matters in the air, to simultaneously separate foreign matters from first and second cyclone units by only separating a dust collecting bin, and to assemble a dust collecting unit easily by inclining a suction port in an outer periphery of the dust collecting unit. A vacuum cleaner includes a cyclone container(220) having plural cyclone units, a suction port(222) formed in the cyclone container to guide air into the cyclone container, a dust collecting handle(224) formed outside the cyclone container and easily gripped by a user, a first cyclone unit(240) formed in the cyclone container to primarily separate foreign matters from air, a second cyclone unit(250) formed at a side of the first cyclone unit to secondarily separate foreign matters from air, a dust collecting bin(230) formed in a lower part of the cyclone container to collect filtrated foreign matters, and an upper cover(210) formed in an upper part of the cyclone container to open and close the upper part of the cyclone container. The suction port is inclined in the cyclone container and arranged asymmetrically to the dust collecting handle. The first cyclone unit has a guide container(242) formed in the cyclone container to guide air flow from the suction port, and a filter(244) installed in the guide container to filtrate foreign matters in the air.
