A keratin fiber coating composition is provided to be able to obtain smooth and uniform make-up of the keratin fiber and be stable after storage for 24 hours at 25deg.C by using a highly adhesive wax. The composition for coating keratin fiber comprises 0.5-60 wt.% of a first wax having the adhesive property of 0.7-30N.s and the hardness of 0.01-3.5MPa in a cosmetically acceptable medium, wherein the first wax is C20-30 alkyl(hydroxystearoyloxy)stearate.
