REFRESH CONTROL CIRCUIT AND METHOD TO BE STABILIZED AT TEMPERATURE TRIP POINT OF TEMPERATURE SENSOR

A stable refresh control circuit and method at a temperature trip point of a temperature sensor are provided to prevent a refresh operation error at the trip point of the temperature sensor, by sufficiently refreshing memory cells connected to a corresponding word line by generating a refresh control signal and a refresh signal without glitch. A counter(110) generates a number of clock signals by inputting an oscillator clock signal. A pulse generation part(620) inputs the clock signals, and generates a temperature sensor enable signal at a time when the clock signals are synchronized. A temperature sensor(130) senses the present temperature of a chip in response to the temperature sensor enable signal and generates a temperature signal. A refresh master block(140) selects one of the clock signals in response to the temperature sensor enable signal and the temperature signal, and generates a refresh signal in response to the selected clock signal.
