<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a certain signal without extending transmission bands, when multiplexing and transmitting a video signal, a voice signal, and a control signal by an optical radio for each frame or for each field using a predetermined two-dimensional format, even if the signal is transmitted excessively, wherein the control signal is used for reconstructing the video signal and the voice signal at a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission is conducted by selecting either of two formats. In one format, a control signal, a video signal, and a voice signal for each frame or for each field are arranged and multiplexed at an arbitrary position, an arbitrary order, and an arbitrary amount on a predetermined two-dimensional format, according to the order of transmission and/or the amount of transmission. The other format is used if any of the control signal, the video signal, and the voice signal cannot be arranged due to a lack of a region. In this format, a signal which cannot be arranged is arranged in a substituted way at a predetermined location information region on the two-dimensional format, and the rest of the control signal, the video signal, and the voice signal are arranged uniquely and multiplexed at the arbitrary position, the arbitrary order, and the arbitrary amount on the predetermined two-dimensional format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
