<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst electrode which can be simply manufactured by using a cheap material, excellent in durability capable of quickly reducing oxidant of redox pair contained in an electrolyte, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar battery provided with the catalyst electrode having an excellent photoelectric conversion rate. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar battery has a catalyst electrode containing at least a metal layer and a conductive polymeric film layer formed on the metal layer, and a catalyst electrode as a counter electrode. It is preferable that the catalyst electrode contains at least the conductive polymeric film layer accurately formed on the metal layer, and a porous conductive polymeric film layer formed on the conductive polymeric layer as an active part of the electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
