<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus for digitally processing a received UWB signal with the use of an A/D converter having an appropriate sample rate and resolution, and acquiring correct reception timing information. <P>SOLUTION: A timing detecting circuit is constituted with two-stage matched filter since the sample rate of an A/D conversion output is high. The chip matched filter of a proceeding stage obtains correlation between an input signal and a template signal, so as to output existence of a pulse and a reception timing to a frame matched filter when a correct transmission pulse signal arrives. The frame matched filter of a successive stage determines the errata of a reception frame by obtaining a correlative value with a diffusion code, so as to appropriately change the threshold of the chip matched filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
