<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system for ensuring a wide band antenna characteristic with one antenna element without the need for using a large-sized antenna element or a plurality of antenna elements, and also to provide a mobile wireless terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna system includes: a loading element 2 formed by forming a conductor pattern to an element assembly; a first chip inductor 3 connected between the conductor pattern and ground; a feeding point P1 feeding power to the first chip inductor 3; and a frequency adjustment section 4 connected between the conductor pattern and the first chip inductor 3, and the frequency adjustment section 4 includes: variable capacitance diodes 6A, 6B connecting one end of the conductor pattern to the first chip inductor 3; and a capacitance variable means 7 for varying the capacitance of the variable capacitance diodes 6A, 6B differently between transmission and reception. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
