<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system which prevents destruction/loss of write data to a hard disk at unexpected disconnection of power. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring system is equipped with; a server device 1 having a monitoring function 3 which collects and saves online data in a hard disk 7; and a power unit 9 which supplies power to the server device 1. The power unit 9 has an input voltage loss detection function 8 to detect drop of input voltage to this power unit 9. When drop of input voltage to the power unit 9 is detected, the input voltage loss detection function 8 outputs notification of input voltage loss to the server device 1. The monitoring function 3 of the server device 1 stores collected online data temporarily in a monitoring function management area 6 of a volatile memory 5 and carries out store processing of this stored online data in the hard disk 7, and when notification of input voltage loss is received, it is made to suspend the store processing to the hard disk 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
