PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP having a structure in which a front panel and a rear panel are made in common and of low cost, capable of easily obtaining many glass plates from one glass plate. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel has a pair of a front glass substrate 1 and a rear glass substrate 8 having rectangular shape of identical dimensions and at least two sides adjoining each other out of four sides of the front glass substrate 1 are arranged opposed to each other located at the outside of the rear glass substrate 8, and an extraction terminal part 21 of an scanning electrode is installed at one side out of the two sides and an extraction terminal part 22 of a sustaining electrode is installed at the other side located outside of the rear glass substrate 8, and an extraction terminal part 20 of a data electrode 9 is installed at one side out of the two sides of the rear glass substrate 8 located at the outside of the front substrate 1.
