PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera considering improvement in convenience and safety by changing a battery even in the midst of the operation of the camera, and informing a user of a battery which can be changed. SOLUTION: The camera includes a function for monitoring the voltage of each battery and a function for displaying a battery state, that is, whether or not the battery can be changed. When the voltage of one battery shows a prescribed value or more, the other battery can be changed, whereby the operation of the camera is continued even in the midst of changing the battery.
