A CMP(Common Mid-Point) sorting method using location information of a GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver is provided to enhance vertical and horizontal resolution by adopting a location mode for CMP distribution of location information. Center coordinates are determined to align mid-points, which are distributed on a two-dimensional plane, on one reference line. A central sideline as a representative of sidelines is formed by connecting the center coordinates with each other. An intersection is obtained by projecting a perpendicular line from each mid-point to the center sideline in order to project the mid-points of the two-dimensional plane on the center sideline. A window having a specific length along the line formed of the projected points is set to sort a CMP.
