PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a door capable of preventing a latch mechanism from committing a malfunction when a tire local input is applied to back door. SOLUTION: A tire is mounted on the outside of the back door 1 rotating to open sideways relative to a vehicle body, and a reinforcement 12 for mounting the tire is installed between a cross-member 11 extended across the vehicle width and the lower part of the back door 1. The back door 1 is fitted with a handle 18 for opening the door and a latch 19 to lock the door to the vehicle body. On the mounting surface of the latch 19 of the back door, a side reinforcing panel 8 is mounted stretching in the vertical direction, and the top of this panel 8 is extended to the cross-member 11.
