PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder in which a dimension of a recorder body in the width direction can be reduced and an advancing amount of a wiper to a recording head can be precisely realized by a constitution wherein a slider having the wiper mounted thereon is held on a position at a predetermined height in a stable attitude without providing a horizontal section to a cam face for restricting the position of the slider. SOLUTION: A lock lever 16 capable of rotating in a direction intersecting with a movement direction of a carriage 6 is provided to the slider 7. When the slider 7 moves to a wiping position, the lock lever 16 is stopped to be engaged with the recorder body 13d, and then the slider 7 is stopped to the wiping position.
