<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus purifying drain containing highly concentrated organic sludge to water quality conforming to the environmental standards of rivers, and improving habitat environment of organisms without damaging it even if discharged to rivers. <P>SOLUTION: Among multiple filter medium layers 5-10 provided in an apparatus body 1, an equalization coefficient of sand used for the filter medium layers 6-10 excluding the layer 5 located at a lower end is set to roughly 1, an outlet of raw water charge port 11 is directed along the inner face of the apparatus body 1, the apparatus is composed to circulate the raw water flowing in from the raw water charge port 11 to the lateral direction on the uppermost filter medium layer 10, and an air blowing out port 16 is provided for circulating the raw water in the vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
