<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase resolution of an image to detect a remotely present object. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 103 calculates a movement amount of the object present in each pixel in the photographic image imaged by a camera 101 between a plurality of frames, moves each the pixel by the calculated movement amount on image data obtained by dividing each the pixel of the photographic image into areas each less than one pixel, increases the resolution of the image on the basis of a pixel value of each the pixel before movement and a pixel value of an area after the movement, and detects the object present inside the image increased in resolution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
