<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system LSI capable of displaying an interactive display with animation without incurring deterioration to a response in response to a user's operation. <P>SOLUTION: An interactive graphics stream represents an interactive display including button members to be overlayed on a motion picture, where the interactive graphics stream includes state control information (ICS) and a graphics data sequence (ODS). The state control information is stored in a PES packet, which includes a time stamp (PTS(DSn[ICS])) indicating a time at which the initial display is performed, the time being obtained by adding a predetermined duration to a decode ending time (PTS(DSn[S-ODSslast])) of graphics data (S-ODSslast) configuring the initial display of the interactive display.
