<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device for vehicle, capable of performing stable motor torque control by combination of a generator with an AC motor. <P>SOLUTION: A target output power PG to be outputted by the generator 7 is calculated based on a motor necessary power Pm needed by the motor 4, and the generator 7 is controlled at an operation point where a torque command value Tt calculated based on the target output power PG can be efficiently generated.
