<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a receiver of an electronic ticket to receive the ticket just after payment. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic ticket transfer system is provided with a first portable terminal 11, a second portable terminal 12, a ticket transfer management system 13, and a communication network 14. The first portable terminal 11 holds the electronic ticket 15. The electronic ticket 15 is digitized information transferrable via communication, for example, information read as digital data by recognizing one-dimensional or two-dimensional bar code. The coded information such as a bar code serving as a certificate of a holder of a certain right is included.
