摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize wiring saving by connecting a light projecting unit, a light receiving unit, etc. for a light curtain to the same bus. SOLUTION: A light-projection-side communication circuit of a light projection part and a light-reception-side communication circuit of a light reception part are connected to a common bus and structured so as to allow data communication. This multi-optical axis photoelectric safety device is equipped with a setting means for associating one light reception part with one light projection part, a safety signal generation means for generating a safety signal based on the light entering/light shielding state of an optical axis, and an output means for outputting the safety signal generated in the generation means. Each light projection part forms an optical axis between itself and a light reception part with which the projection part is associated by the setting means, and they are structured so that, via the common bus, light projection and light reception are performed at prescribed times and safety signals can be outputted.
