PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the molding of fine foams by, while efficiently mixing an inert gas of a supercritical fluid state into a molten resin and making it disperse to impregnate uniformly, quickly preparing proper foaming conditions. SOLUTION: The compound-screw kneading extruder comprises the cylinder 2 in whose upstream side the supply port 5 is provided, the two compound screws 3 arranged free rotatively in the cylinder 2 and the die 13 arranged in the downstream end of the cylinder 2, and is equipped, in order from the supply port side to the die side, with the twin-screw kneading extrusion part A, the adjusting mechanism B of degree of kneading and the single-screw kneading extrusion part C. The compound screws 3 comprise a twin-screw part 3a corresponding to the twin-screw kneading extrusion part A and a single-screw part 3b corresponding to the single-screw kneading extrusion part C. The cylinder 2 comprises one twin-screw inner diameter part 6 in which the twin-screw part 3a is located and one pair of the single-screw inner diameter parts 7 in which the single-screw parts 3b are each located, and the single-screw inner diameter parts 7 have, on their upstream sides, openings 8 for injecting the inert gas of a supercritical fluid state.
