<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container capable of enhancing the appearance by reducing the area of a vacuum pressure absorbing panel, having high strength against vacuum pressure, and holding the container shape even when the internal pressure is dropped by cooling contents or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a resin storage container, a transverse sectional shape of a shoulder part or a bottom part is formed in a regular nonagon. A part of corners of the shoulder part or the bottom part at three parts forming a regular triangle by the lines to connect the corners to each other, and a part of corners of a body part with the transverse sectional shape being formed in a hexagon at three parts forming a regular triangle formed by lines to connect the corners to each other are vertically arranged in one row parallel to the center line of the container. When the pressure in the container is dropped by the temperature drop of contents or the like, the stresses are exerted inside the body portion of the container in the direction in which the body portion is deformed in the regular triangular prism shape with the corners vertically arranged in one row as being an apex.
