PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for printing biomolecules through the utilization of electrohydrodynamic phenomena. SOLUTION: The printing system is provided with a first needle-like electric field forming an electrode made of an electrically conductive material, longitudinally arranged in the vertical direction, and having both a housing part of a biomolecular solution and a discharge opening, formed in the lower end part the housing part; a substrate, arranged below the electrode and having a target part to which the biomolecular solution discharged from the discharge opening of the electrode, is dropped and adheres; a second electric field forming electrode, arranged below the electrode and made of an electrically conductive material; and a voltage impressing device electrically connected to the first electrode and the second electrode for impressing a voltage on the first and second electrodes, in such a way as to form an electric field around the biomolecular solution suspended from the discharge opening, generating electric force on the side of the biomolecular solution from the periphery of the biomolecular solution by interactions among an electric field distribution, the biomolecular solution having a free interface, and the gradient of the dielectric constant of the atmosphere, and dropping the biomolecular solution to the target part of the substrate.
