PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attractive aesthetic appearance in a structure where a plane is constructed by disposing a plurality of sheet materials through clearances with predetermined dimensions therebetween. SOLUTION: A cutout step part 4 is formed on the rear side of each sheet material 1 along its side end part facing an adjacent sheet material 1, and a joint sheet material 10 having a width dimension slightly larger than the sum of the width dimensions of the cutout step parts 4 and 4 is disposed between the cutout step parts 4 and 4. Further, a curved surface 1a is formed on the side end part on the front surface side of the plate material 1. Since a wall surface W is so formed as to hold a clearance D between the plate materials 1 and 1 by curved surfaces 1a and 1a, the structure can provide attractive aesthetic appearance to develop excellent designability. By abutting the cutout step part 4 on the joint sheet material 10, the clearance D with the predetermined dimension can be securely formed and since the sheet materials 1 and 1 can be properly positioned, a positioning operation can be very easily performed. A specified aesthetic appearance can be easily provided since the cutout step part is formed after the curved surface is formed on the surface of the sheet material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
