PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide belt-shaped ornamental material that can effectively utilize fabrics, for example, thick towel cloth, linen, or denim and also can increase the ornamental effect. SOLUTION: The adhesive layer 14 of a double-sided adhesive tape 13 is adhered to the back face of the belt-shaped ornamental main body 12 made of towel cloth. The release sheet 15 adhered to the adhesive agent layer 14 is released and the belt-shaped ornamental main body 12 is adhered to the surface of the matter to be decorated so that, for example, the belt-shaped ornamental body is wound around in a spiral shape thereby the pile face of the towel cloth appears to develop an ornamental effect of excellent design.
