An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to suppress generation of eddy current by forming a projection for guiding flow of the air adjacent to a photo sensor of the indoor unit. An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a casing, a suction grill, a discharge grill(12), side discharge parts, a front shutter, an inner frame, a photo sensor(15), and a projection(2). The suction grill is formed at a lower part of the casing. The discharge grill is formed at an upper part of the suction grill. The side discharge parts are formed at both sides of the casing. The front shutter selectively opens/closes the discharge grill. The inner frame is installed to mount inner parts to the front shutter. The photo sensor detects a motion of the front shutter. The projection guides flow of the cold air. |
