DETECTING REAGENT AND DETECTING METHOD FOR RAW MATERIAL DERIVED FROM HEAT-TREATED ANIMAL TISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting reagent for detecting the presence of a heat-treated animal tissue-derived raw material in a sample, using a thermally modified serum albumin as an index, and a detecting method using the detecting reagent. SOLUTION: In this method, a labeled antibody (A) with an antibody against the serum albumin in the animal tissue-derived raw material or an antigen binding fragment thereof labeled with a labeling substance, and a sample are brought into contact with a detection area 2 of a carrier (B) 1 provided with the detection area 2 immobilized with the antibody against the serum albumin in the animal tissue-derived raw material or the antigen binding fragment thereof, and the presence of the animal tissue-derived raw material in the sample is determined, based on a signal from the detection area 2.
