PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an almost continuous external appearance between a bonnet and a cabin of a slewing gear in a simple manner at a low cost. SOLUTION: This slewing gear has a swivel slide 4 in a freely rotatable manner about the center of an axis X in an up-and-down direction on a travelling gear 3; a bonnet 15 at the rear and a cabin 21 at the front on the swivel slide 4; and the bonnet 15 has a front cover 45 at the rear bottom of the cabin 21, an operable rear cover 46 and a side cover 47 between them. A curved plate 47B is formed along the side shape of a rear cover 46 at the rear of the side cover 47; and a swelled portion 47A swelled outwardly from the curved plate 47B and being continuous almost to the outer side surface of the cabin 21 is formed at the front of the side cover 47. The swelled portion 47A is bent externally to the right and left from the front edge of the curved plate 47B and further bent to the front side thereby forming an exterior surface almost continuing to an exterior panel 57 at the side of the cabin 21.
