PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insectproof structure which can easily and surely prevent a pest from invading into a building from a soil, while effectively utilizing resources, without the use of a chemical agent. SOLUTION: In this insectproof structure of the building, a barrier layer (3) for preventing the invasion of the building by the pest, on which granular blast furnace slag and converter slag, except granulated blast furnace slag, are spread, is formed in such a manner as to cover the whole or a part of a soil surface (S) under the floor of the building.
