An architectural ornament made of material containing concrete and mounted to an outer wall of a building is provided to accomplish more aesthetic dwelling environment, reducing the repair cost and improving stability. An architectural ornament(10) made of material containing concrete and mounted to an outer wall of a building(20), comprises a first wall(600), a second wall(800), and an intermediate member(700). The first wall directs the outside. The second wall is directly contacted with the outer wall of the building. The intermediate member is disposed between the first wall and the second wall, and is formed of light-weight concrete. The first wall and the second wall are connected to each other by a steel wire. The steel wire is extended to the outside of the second wall. A method for producing the architectural ornament comprises steps of forming a frame having a part complementary with at least a part of the outer shape of the ornament, mounting a steel wire to the frame, mounting and connecting to a sleeve to the steel wire, forming the first wall by concrete, forming the intermediate member by light concrete, performing water drip, and forming the second wall by concrete. |
