An image forming device for performing security printing and a security printing method thereof are provided to enable a user to print a security document by transmitting a password for printing the security document. A memory(21) stores the security document, the password needed for printing the security document, and user contact of the security document. A security document searcher(27) searches the security document stored in the memory. A password input part(22) inputs the password matched with the security document searched from the memory. A determiner(23) determines matching by comparing the inputted password with the password stored in the memory. A transmitter(24) transmits the password stored in the memory to the user contact stored in the memory if the passwords are unmatched. A printing part(25) prints the security document stored in the memory in case that the passwords are matched. The user contact is an email address or a mobile phone number.
