PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a transmission belt being little feared that an identification display is faded by an abrasion or the like from a view point of a belt management. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the transmission belt, which is provided, comprises forming an unvulcanized rubber sheet layer with a colored rubber arranged wherein an unvulcanized rubber sheet is wound along a circumferential surface of a cylindrical mold and a rectangular shaped unvulcanized colored rubber is arranged in the direction which intersects the peripheral direction of the cylindrical mold, vulcanizing and unifying the unvulcanized rubber sheet and the unvulcanized colored rubber of the unvulcanized rubber sheet layer arranged with a colored rubber, forming a belt preforming body with a cylindrical shape and cutting the belt preforming body with a given space.
